An Opportunity to Create a Magnificent Entranceway to Your Property or Estate, Capturing the Artistic Beauty of Montmartre...

Towards the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the twentieth, many artists had studios in and around Montmartre. These included Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Vincent Van Gogh and Pablo Picasso.

By contrast, the old hospitals of Paris reflect a more sombre and sometimes disturbing medical heritage. We can only imagine the plight of the poor and the destitute as they passed through these gates to be "treated" for a variety of ailments from tumors to mental illness to rabies and much more. (Perhaps Edith Piaf may have said "No Regrets" :-)

So these gates would have seen it all - everything from the fun, frivolity and naughtiness of the Moulin Rouge to brief encounters with the renowned artists of Paris ... we can only imagine the stories that would have unfolded in and around these magnificent wrought iron pieces - including  the Main Pair of Gates, the Pedestrian Gate alongside and also the  80ft plus (26m) sections of Side Fencing surrounding the grand entrance.

An Upright View of the Pedestrian Gate

Note the intricate craftsmanship of the wrought iron work on top of the gate. Each main gate is approx one third wider than this pedestrian side gate but the heights are identical. 

Stylish Side Fence Panels to Match Main Gates

We have 14 of these side sections. They are around 3ft 6in (1m plus) in height and 6ft in length They can either be installed at ground level or (more likely) on a brick or concrete plinth wall to raise the elevation for both security and aesthetics.  

Decorative Tip or "Spear Points", Featured on All Gates and Side Fencing anels

These are for both decorative and security purposes. They add a classic touch to the wrought iron construction. Note also the intricate scroll work on either side.
